We have been providing qualified professionals and technicians for industry and research projects since 2021 and have been incorporated and growing since 2019.
Since our opening, we have expanded to offer our services throughout British Columbia, with bases in Vanderhoof (Saik'uz First Nation), Prince George (Lheidli T'enneh First Nation), and Good Hope Lake (Dease River First Nation).

We work closely with land guardians, development corporations, and First Nations bands to ensure our projects build capacity and benefit the community members they impact. Director
Lee-Ann Martens BsN
Lee-Ann is a guiding force behind CNES, aligning our operations with the core values of community and environmental stewardship. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a diverse background that includes roles as a project manager and rural nurse, Lee-Ann brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to her leadership.
In addition to her role as Director, Lee-Ann is advancing her education with certifications in land reclamation, community health, Indigenous environmental stewardship, finance and health and safety.
Lee-Ann is dedicated to ensuring that CNES not only thrives as a company but also strengthens the communities we serve. She is passionate about breaking barriers and values the unique contributions of each team member. Whether before, during, or after a project, she actively engages with team members to reinforce safety protocols and foster a positive work culture.
Lead Agrologist and Biologist
Connor Nielsen RPBio, P.Ag
Connor holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Northern British Columbia, with minors in soil science and aquatic science. He is a Registered Professional Biologist with a focus on fisheries and a Professional Agrologist specializing in contaminated land assessment, remediation, and decommissioning.
With a robust background in research and substantial experience in large-scale industrial projects (including mines, hydroelectric dams, and pipelines) Connor has excelled as a project lead in various disciplines such as reclamation, fisheries, water quality, hydrology, and vegetation management.
As a fisheries biologist and Project Manager he specializes in fish-related projects, leveraging his knowledge in reclamation and site assessments.
Connor's role as Project Lead showcases his leadership in management and crew supervision, including designing water quality sampling protocols and leading large-scale fish salvage operations.
